Examhive is an online examination and assessment platform operated by Hive Technologies. This policy explains what information we collect when schools, universities, institutions, organizations, and candidates use Examhive, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

We only collect what is needed to run examinations and keep accounts secure.

• Account details — name, email address, role, and the institution or organization you belong to.
• Examination content — question banks, examinations, and settings created in your workspace.
• Candidate records — candidates who register through an examination link, their submissions, scores, and results.
• Session information — sign-in activity, exam start and submission times, and basic device and browser details used to keep sessions reliable.

• To deliver examinations, save answers, and process results.
• To authenticate users and protect examination sessions.
• To provide support when you contact us.
• To monitor reliability and improve the platform.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use examination content for advertising.

Your examinations, question banks, candidate records, and results belong to your institution or organization. Examhive processes this data on your behalf so that you can run and review assessments.

Examination data is retained for as long as your workspace is active, so that past results remain reviewable. Accounts are protected by authenticated sign-in, and examination sessions are controlled from start to submission. No system can promise absolute security, but we apply established safeguards and review them regularly.

Primary and secondary schools, and their equivalents abroad, remain responsible for the candidate information they add to Examhive and for obtaining any consent required in their jurisdiction. We limit candidate records to what an examination needs.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held in your workspace. Administrators can also remove candidates and examinations directly.
